Questions below are related to reservation.

Is it possible to make a reservation by phone?

We manage reservations using a reservation system, so in principle, we ask that you make reservations from our website.
If it is difficult to make a reservation by phone for some reason, please contact the store where you are planning to make a reservation. You can also make reservation on Instagram. (Instagram account: uncinq_1115)
On rare occasions, we may not be able to answer the phone. However if you leave a call, we will contact you one by one.

Is it possible to change the number of people, or plan after the reservation?

If there are any changes, please contact us as soon as possible. However if the number of people increases, we may not be able to accept your desired time, due to the other reservation status.
(Please contact us for the change from a reservation completion mail that will be sent from our store, informing that the reservation is confirmed)

Can I change the rental plan and options on the day I visit your store?

We accept changing rental plan and additions/changes to options on your visiting day.
However please note that depending on the reservation status on the day, options may be out of stock and we may not be able to fulfill your request.

Is it possible to change the reservation time for kimono rental?

It is possible to change the reservation time. Please reply to the email sent from our store when you complete your reservation, and tell us your preferred time.

About dressing

Questions blow are related to kimono dressing.

How much time does it take to put on a kimono/yukata?

It takes approximately 20 minutes to put on your kimono or yukata, and approximately 30 minutes for furisode. Please note that these time may change depending on the congestion level and customer requests.
Also, during busy periods such as long holidays, there is a possibility that the delivery time may be significantly delayed due to the large number of customers visiting the store.
We apologize for any inconvenience that may happen, and appreciate your understanding.

I am worried about my height. Is it possible to rent a kimono?

If your height is 140cm or more, you can adjust the fitting.
Up to 170cm, you can wear it as usual. If you are taller than 170cm, the Ohashori tuck or the hem may be slightly shorter. In that case, we recommend coordinating a Homushhem (Pleat-like fabric from the hem, designed by homsue).

I am worried about my height. Is it possible to rent a kimono? (※men)

Our store offers sizes from M to 3L for men, so customers up to 190cm tall can wear the kimono without any problem. People over 190cm tall can also wear this item, although the hem may be slightly shorter.

About hair set

Below questions are related to hair styling.

How long does it take make my hair-set?

Hair styling takes approximately 20 minutes. Depending on the reservation status and the staff’s work status, it may be slightly delayed.
Also, during busy periods such as long holidays, there is a possibility that the delivery time may be significantly delayed due to the large number of customers visiting the store.
We apologize for any inconvenience that may happen, and appreciate your understanding.

How many hair accessories can I wear with the hair set plan?

There is no upper limit, but the stylist will provide one to three items depending on the coordination and hair style of the day.
Please consult with your stylist when getting your hair styled, as you may be asked to wear multiple hair ornaments depending on our stylist’s arrangement .

Can I just wear a simple hair ornament?

Customers who choose the basic plan can also rent hair accessories for an additional fee of 500 yen (tax included).

Can I still style up my hair even if I have hair extensions?

It is possible. However, we could only provide hair styling services for customers who have no problems using hair irons.
Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for any issues such as damage or falling off.

Can you do hair styling for men?

We do not provide hair styling services for men.

Is make-up included?

We do not provide makeup services. In addition, we do not have space for makeup, so please make sure to apply makeup before coming to our store.

About the service

Below questions are related to our services.

What is the last returning time on the day?

The final returning time is 17:30. Please note that extra charge will cause for delayed returns.

Can I extend the return time of my kimono rental?

The final return time for kimono rentals is 17:30 on the same day.
However, we recommend the next-day return plan for customers who are certain that the returning time will pass.
Next day return service is available for each plan with an additional 1,000 yen (tax included). We also ask you for extra 5,000 yen (tax included) per person for security deposit.
This deposit will be refunded upon the kimono’s return, provided it is not dirty, damaged or parts missing.

Could you keep our large luggage such as carry cases and strollers?

Large luggage that does not fit into our baggage storage bag can also be stored at the reception. Please take your valuables with you or use the lockers.

Can I see the kimono/yukata in advance?

You can visit our store in advance and check out the rental items.

About the plan contents

Below questions are related to our kimono rental plan.

Are tabi socks and kinchaku (drawstring bag) included in the plan?

Kinchaku (drawstring bag) for women, and Shingen bag for men are included in the plan.
Plan also includes undershirt, undergarments, sandals etc. to be worn inside the kimono.

Is it possible to add extra options?

You can add or change options when deciding on your coordination on the day.
At the time of reception our staff will check for the options, so please let us know if there are any additions or changes. However, due to out of stock we may not be able to accommodate your request.

Do you rent umbrellas, boots, and haori as an option?

Although stocks are limited, we do rent parasols and rain umbrellas. *A haori option is available for male kimono customers only.
Option price 1,500 yen (tax included) → Currently on campaign discount 500 yen (tax included)
If you would like to wear boots with your kimono, please bring your own.
As an option for female customers to protect themselves from the cold, we have a shawl available for rent.
